CASA RURAL CAMPO BELCHITE is a rural tourism complex located in LECERA, a small town in
CAMPO DE BELCHITE region, province of ZARAGOZA.
We are in a strategic place to travel from the large cities of Spain and ideal to enjoy cultural,
heritage and nature tourism in the towns of our Campo de Belchite region, full of unique
corners and traditional architecture. Our great tourist reference is the old town of Belchite;
which takes us to the midst of the Civil War and which is the first large-scale attempt to
preserve the ruins of a war in Europe. Also noteworthy are the municipality of Fuendetodos,
the birthplace of the illustrious painter Francisco de Goya with a wide cultural and artistic
offer, and the impressive and imposing Roman dam of Almonacid de la Cuba, one of the best
preserved from the 1st century in the entire continent.
For ornithological and birding tourism lovers, we have the steppe natural area of La Lomaza
and the Planeron ornithological reserve. We cannot forget the gastronomic tourism of the
Campo de Belchite region, where the wine from Lecera and the olive oil from Belchite are our
inherited products with the most history. However, gastrotourism is booming in the territory
and new generations have developed and made known other high-quality products such as
artisan cheeses from Letux, homemade jams from Samper del Salz and organic pasta and
vegetables from Lecera.
Our rural accommodation was an old chicken farm located within the urban area, of which its
original structure is maintained. We have 3 independent rural houses on the street level and
an air-conditioned room for meetings, conferences and other events. The common area
includes parking for vehicles, large barbecue and garden with pool to enjoy rural tourism with
family and friends.
Each rural house bears the name of a place on the Lecera Hill, from which in the past you could
see huge vineyards that have been largely replaced by cereal plantations.
Location: Calle Dula, 11. Lécera (Zaragoza).
